Biographical Info It’s all about Metamorphosis From start to finish I can get you through your renovating or decorating project. Over the past 23 years I have managed the details of many renovation and decorating projects. Over that time, I have also developed relationships with a number of professional trades in the KW area, and supplier contacts throughout Southwestern Ontario, as well as across Canada and the US. Since graduating from Fanshawe College in 1992 with a diploma in Interior Design, I have gone on to receive my NCIDQ certificate after passing a North American wide exam in 2002. Passing that exam is a requirement of becoming a Registered Interior Designer and a member of ARIDO. I now co-facilitate study sessions for the NCIDQ exam for interns of ARIDO. In 2005, I wrote another exam and received my Building Code Identification Number for house and small buildings up to 600 square meters (6458 square feet). This registration permits me to engage in the business of providing design activities to the public subject to the Ontario Building Code and therefore will have my BCIN# on all construction drawings and blueprints being submitted for permit. As a member of ARIDO and IDC, I have twice served as president of the Grand Valley Chapter of ARIDO. I have also been Chair of the Interior Design Week committee in Kitchener in 2008 and 2009, as well as being captain of Team ARIDO in CANstruction from 2008 to 2012 and again in 2015, I was honored to be chosen as a judge for CANstruction in 2013 and 2014. As a team captain for ARIDO I have also participated in Drop Zone, benefiting Easter Seals and Run for the Cure, helping to raise over 18000.00 for the community. I also sat with the panel of esteemed judges for the ARIDO Awards of Excellence in 2007. NOTES: IDC is Interior Designers of Canada ARIDO is the Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario NCIDQ is the National Council for Interior Qualification

How interior design can affect the health and well-being of seniors
